What is Guess the Password?
Guess the Password is an AI word game. A guardian AI is given a secret word and one hard rule: never reveal it directly. Your job is to make it leak — through riddles, roleplay, trick questions, emotional pressure, or logic traps.
Every reply contains at least one legitimate hint. The guardian may stall, deflect, lie about peripherals, and stay in character — but it cannot give you nothing. You win the moment your message contains the exact password.
It sits in the same family as Wordle and Spelling Bee — a single-session word puzzle you can play in a few minutes — but replaces letter-feedback mechanics with an actual conversation. Think: Gandalf meets Wordle.
How to play Guess the Password
- Pick a difficulty. Easy archetypes leak willingly (they want to help). Medium archetypes evaluate you. Hard archetypes try to break you — they invert whatever approach you try.
- Read the guardian's first reply carefully. Every word of their opening is a theme clue. A detail they repeat is the shape of the answer.
- Type what you think it is. The AI will tell you if you're in the right semantic field (warm), adjacent (lukewarm), or far off (cold). It tracks what you've already tried.
- Escalate creatively. If you stall on the same theme, change register — roleplay, shift language, ask the AI a meta-question, propose a trade. Good guardians reward creativity with bigger hints.
- Write the exact word in your message — that's how you win. Typos within one letter count.
